Scato's Bus N Taxi Services

''We take U where no other will'

First spotted by Christopher Columbus in 1493, the British Virgin Islands (BVI)  was named after Saint Ursula and her 11,000 virgins. The BVI is located between the Caribbean Sea and the North-Atlantic Ocean, east of Puerto Rico (18 20 N, 64 50 W).

The official name of the territory is still simply the "Virgin Islands", the prefix "British" is used to distinguish it from the neighboring American territory which changed it name from the "Danish West Indies" to "Virgin Islands of the United States" in 1917.

The British Virgin Islands is made up of 60 islands, rocks & Cays with Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost van Dyke and Anegada being the most populated.
